My Mother’s Hometown

I don't know why but I love Barcelona, Spain.  Maybe it is because it is where my Mother was born and raised.  She came to this wonderful country when she was 19 and has never returned to Barcelona.  I, however, have been there several times. Each time experiencing food and sights highly recommended by my mother, meeting family, and each time feeling more at home.  I feel so lucky that my mom made sacrifices by coming to this country in 1957 and more importantly brought a bit of Spain into our home on a daily basis enriching our family's life. Thanks Mom.  Olé!
